Arts Management Training & Education Projects

National Assembly of State Arts Agencies Forum Design and Facilitation

Maren Brown and Mary Margaret Schoenfeld are consulting with the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies in the design and facilitation of its 2023 Executive Leadership Forum in Santa Fe, NM for state and jurisdictional arts agencies in the United States and its territories.

Western State Arts Federation Presentation Design and Facilitation

Maren Brown and Mary Margaret Schoenfeld designed and facilitated the session, Being Strategic Now, as part of the Western States Arts Federation’s Executive Director’s Forum for the state and jurisdictional agencies that comprise WESTAF’s catchment area.

Strengthening the Foundation Program for the Creative Commonwealth Cohort

Arkansas Arts Council Program Evaluation Training

Maren Brown Associates presented a program evaluation training for the Arkansas Arts Council‘s Expansion Arts Program participants in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Delaware Division of the Arts’ Arts Summit Presentation

Maren Brown and Mary Margaret Schoenfeld of Maren Brown Associates presented at the Delaware Division of the Arts’ bi-annual statewide Arts Summit on “Partnering for Impact,” to help cultural organizations and artists to strengthen their impact through partnerships.

Rural Arts Education Research and Training

Introduction to Arts Management class

New Hampshire State Council on the Arts Program Evaluation Training

Maren Brown delivered an introductory program evaluation training for arts educators on behalf of the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts.  The all-day training program was held in Concord, New Hampshire at Plymouth State University Graduate Center. El Paso Museums and Cultural Affairs Department Public Artist Training

Maren Brown joined together with colleague, Dee Boyle-Clapp, Director of the Arts Extension Service, to deliver a 5-day training series on artist business skills for public artists.  The series was sponsored by the City of El Paso Museums and Cultural Affairs Department, with support from a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Holyoke Artist Business Training

Maren Brown offered an Artist Business training in Holyoke, Massachusetts with Arts Extension Service Director, Dee Boyle-Clapp.  This two-day workshop focused on strengthening business and marketing skills for artists and was sponsored by the Artery and the Holyoke Creative Arts Center.
